창세기 21:33 아브라함은 브엘세바에 에셀 나무를 심고 거기서 영원하신 여호와의 이름을 불렀으며 21:33 Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called upon the name of the LORD, the Eternal God.

21:33 the Everlasting God. A divine name appropriately signifying to Abraham the unbreakable and everlasting nature of the covenant God had made with him, notwithstanding his being only a resident alien and a sojourner in the Land (cf. 23:4). 영원하신 여호와 : 이것은 아브라함이 단지 그 땅에 거주하는 이방인이자 나그네였음에도 불구하고, 하나님께서 그와 맺으신 언약의 파기될 수 없는 영원한 본질을 아브라함에게 나타내시는 하나님의 이름입니다.

The Divine Warrior is always providing protection because He is eternal. God is a refuge or fortress for the people to flee to in times of distress (Ps. 90:1; 91:9). everlasting arms: The God who redeemed Israel with His strong arm will always be with His people in love and power. 신성한 전사이신 여호와께서는 영원하신 분이시기에 항상 보호하실 수 있습니다. 하나님은 백성이 환난 중에 피할 피난처 혹은 요새이십니다. 영원하신 팔 : 강한 팔로 이스라엘을 구원하신 하나님은, 항상 그의 백성과 사랑과 능력으로 함께하실 것입니다.

40:28 God is infinite with regard to time (everlasting; Ps. 90:2), power (Creator … fainteth not; Jer. 32:17), and knowledge and wisdom (understanding; Ps. 147:5); therefore He is incomprehensible or far beyond our understanding (no searching, Ps. 145:3). 하나님께서는 시간, 능력, 그리고 지식과 지혜에 있어서 무한하십니다. 그러므로 그분은 이해할 수 없는 혹은 우리의 이해를 훨씬 뛰어넘는 분이십니다.

네비암송 (45) 하늘 아버지께, 당신의 염려를 '온전히' 맡기세요 (베드로전서 5장 7절 / C-4 평안)

 

베드로전서 5:7 너희 염려를 다 주께 맡기라 이는 그가 너희를 돌보심이라 (개역개정) 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (NIV)

 

5:7 casting all your anxiety on Him. This verse partly quotes and partly interprets Ps 55:22. “Casting” means “to throw something on something,” as to throw a blanket on a donkey (Lk 19:35). Christians are to cast all of their discontent, discouragement, despair, and suffering on the Lord, and trust Him for knowing what He’s doing with their lives (cf. 1Sa 1:10–18). Along with submission (v. 5) and humility (vv. 5, 6), trust in God is the third attitude necessary for victorious Christian living. 너희 염려를 다 주께 맡기라 : 이 구절은 시편 55편 22절의 부분적인 인용과 해석입니다. 독서 묵상 (17) 투자의 신 - 창조주이시며 인도자이신 하나님, 그분을 따르는 것이 가장 효율적입니다

 

나의 삶이 마음대로 움직여 지지 않는 것은 사실입니다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 누구나 현재의 상황에서 가능한 한도 내에서, 끊임없이 능동적인 선택을 하며 살아갑니다. 나의 삶이 힘든다는 것은 공감 받아야 마땅하지만, 그러나 삶에 대한 책임에서 벗어나는 것은 아닙니다. 

이상하게도, 기독교를 "낭비"라고 생각하는 사람들이 있습니다. 정말 그런가요? 우리를 창조하신 분은 하나님이십니다. 그리고 그분이 우리의 주인십니다. 온 우주의 그 누구보다, 인간에 대해 나에 대해 그리고 삶에 대해서 가장 완벽한 길을 가장 잘 아시는 분이십니다. 효율이라는 말은 경제적인 용어이지만, "오늘의 나의 선택"에도 적용할 수 있습니다. 여호와를 힘써 따라가고 그분의 뜻을 선택하는 것이야 말로, 삶을 가장 "효율적"으로 살아가는 유일한 길입니다.

네비암송 (42) "하나님의 변치 않는 사랑"이, 당신을 붙들어 주십니다 (예레미야애가 3장 22절 / C-3 성실)

 

예레미야애가 3:22 여호와의 인자와 긍휼이 무궁하시므로 우리가 진멸되지 아니함이니이다 3:22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 3:23 이것들이 아침마다 새로우니 주의 성실하심이 크시도소이다 (개역개정) They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (NIV)

 

3:22 god, Faithfulness—God’s compassion, his love deeper than any parent’s, springs forth fresh to us each day ready to receive his penitent people. Wrath may mark yesterday, but today can be the day of love when we relate rightly to him. God is always faithful to his people and to his own character. 하나님의 신실하심 : 하나님의 동정심은 어떤 부모보다 더 깊은 그분의 사랑입니다. 그 사랑은 그분의 회개하는 백성을 받아들이시기 위하여 우리를 위하여 날마다 새롭게 솟아납니다. 어제는 진노의 날이었다하더라도, 우리가 그분과 올바른 관계를 맺을 때에 바로 오늘이 사랑의 날이 될 수 있습니다. 하나님께서는 항상 그분의 백성과 그분 자신의 성품에 대하여 신실하십니다.

3:23 new every morning. God’s mercies never fail; they are continuous and ever fresh. faithfulness. The Hebrew refers to trustworthiness, steadfastness, reliability, and fidelity. Regardless of circumstances, God proves Himself to be worthy of trust. 아침마다 새로우니 : 하나님의 자비는 결코 실패하지 않습니다. 그 자비들은 지속적이고 항상 새로운 것입니다. “성실하심”이라고 번역된 히브리어 단어는 신뢰할 만한, 확고한, 의지할 수 있는, 충실한 이라는 의미를 가집니다. 어떤 상황에서도, 하나님은 신뢰 받기에 합당하신 분으로 자기 자신을 증명하십니다.
