네비암송 (57) 예수님이 섬기신 것처럼, “다른 사람의 종”이 되세요 (고린도후서 4장 5절 / D-4 다른 사람을 섬김)

 

고린도후서 4:5 우리가 우리를 전파하는 것이 아니라 오직 그리스도 예수의 주 되신 것과 또 예수를 위하여 우리가 너희의 종 된 것을 전파함이라 (개역개정) 4:5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. (NIV)

 

4:5 Jesus Christ as Lord. Acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord leads naturally and inevitably to lowly and unquestioning service to one’s fellow believers. To confess “Jesus is Lord” (1 Cor 12:3; Rom 10:9) involves saying to other Christians, “I am your slave, for Jesus’ sake.” your servants. Paul sees himself related to his converts not as a spiritual overlord (1:24) but as a willing slave as well as a concerned father (1 Cor 4:15). 그리스도 예수의 주 되신 것 : 예수님을 주님으로 인정하면, 자연스럽고 필연적으로 동료 신자들에게 겸손하게 그리고 무조건적으로 봉사하게 됩니다. “예수님이 주이시다”라고 고백하는 것은, 다른 그리스도인들에게 “나는 예수님 때문에 당신의 종입니다”라고 말하는 것을 포함합니다. 너희의 종 된 것을 : 바울은 자신을 영적인 주관자가 아니라, 그들을 돌보는 아버지이자 기꺼이 섬기는 종으로써 회심한 이들과 관련되어 있다고 생각합니다.

네비암송 (56) 섬김을 받는 사람이 아니라, 오히려 "섬기는 사람"이 되세요 (마가복음 10장 45절 / D-4 다른 사람을 섬김)

 

마가복음 10:45 인자의 온 것은 섬김을 받으려 함이 아니라 도리어 섬기려 하고 자기 목숨을 많은 사람의 대속물로 주려 함이니라 (개역개정) 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

 

10:45 did not come to be served. Jesus was the supreme example of servant leadership (cf. Jn 13:13–15). The King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Rev 19:16) relinquished His privileges (Php 2:5–8) and gave His life as a selfless sacrifice in serving others. ransom for many. “Ransom” refers to the price paid to free a slave or a prisoner; “for” means “in place of.” Christ’s substitutionary death on behalf of those who would put their faith in Him is the most glorious, blessed truth in all of Scripture (cf. Ro 8:1–3; 1Co 6:20; Gal 3:13; 4:5; Eph 1:7; Tit 2:14; 1Pe 1:18, 19). 예수님께서는 섬기는 리더십의 최고의 모범이셨습니다. 만왕의 왕이시며, 만주의 주이신 예수님은, 자신의 특권을 포기하시고 다른 사람을 섬기기 위하여 자신의 생명을 이타적인 재물로 주셨습니다. “대속물”은 노예나 죄수를 해방시키기 위해서 지불한 대가를 의미합니다. “for”라는 것은 “대신에”를 의미합니다. 그리스도를 믿는 자들을 위한 그리스도의 대속적 죽음은, 모든 성경에서 가장 영광스럽고 복된 진리입니다.

아버지 하나님 감사합니다. 존귀한 예수님의 대속의 죽음에 감사드립니다. 주님께서 우리 자리에서 죄의 댓가를 치르심으로 우리가 하나님의 자녀가 되었습니다. 가장 존귀한 분께서 기꺼이 우리를 섬기신 것처럼, 우리도 다른 이를 위하여 기꺼이 섬기는 자가 되게하여 주시옵소서. 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도 드립니다. 아멘.
