목양말씀암송 (48) 말씀을 통해 마음을 돌이키고 주님의 돌보심을 확신합니다 (시편 119편 18-20절)

 

시편 119:18 내 눈을 열어서 주의 율법에서 놀라운 것을 보게 하소서 119:18 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. 119:19 나는 땅에서 나그네가 되었사오니 주의 계명들을 내게 숨기지 마소서 119:19 I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me. 118:20 주의 규례들을 항상 사모함으로 내 마음이 상하나이다 (개역개정) 118:20 My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times. 119:18 Open thou mine eyes. Remove the spiritual blindness that hinders me from seeing God’s glory and beauty in the Word (Deut. 29:4; 1 Cor. 2:14; 2 Cor. 3:14–18; 4:4–6). wondrous things. Extraordinary, often miraculous things, beyond human ability (v. 27). 내 눈을 열어서 : 이것은 말씀 안에서 하나님의 영광과 아름다움을 보지 못하게 하는 영적으로 눈먼 상태를 제거해 달라는 간구입니다.

119:20 crushed with longing. This expresses the psalmist’s deep passion for the Word (cf. vv. 40, 131). 내 마음이 상하나이다. : 이것은 말씀에 대한 시편 기자의 깊은 열망을 표현하는 것입니다.

119:17–20 By emphasizing that he needs God to help him understand His directions (v. 18), the psalmist alludes to revelation that goes beyond just knowing their content (see v. 18 and note). He sees himself as a foreigner (v. 19), and seems to respond to his situation by longing for God’s direction (v. 20). 시편 기자는 하나님의 율법을 이해하도록 하나님께서 도우셔야 한다라는 것을 강조함으로써, 하나님의 계시는 단순히 내용을 아는 것 이상의 것임을 암시합니다. 그는 자신을 나그네로 여기고 있으며, 하나님의 인도하심을 사모함으로써 자신의 상황에 응답하고 있는 것 같습니다.

네비암송 (67) “성도는 나그네”이며 “거룩한 삶”을 살아야 합니다 (베드로전서 2장 11절 / E-3 순결)

 

베드로전서 2:11 사랑하는 자들아 거류민과 나그네 같은 너희를 권하노니 영혼을 거슬러 싸우는 육체의 정욕을 제어하라 (개역개정) 2:11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. (NIV)

 

2:11 foreigners and exiles. They typically abstained from participating in the customs and practices of their host culture, and they had neither the privileges nor the responsibilities of citizens. This phrase suggests that Christians should abstain from the customs and practices of unbelievers and live instead by values and practices of the holy nation. 거류민과 나그네 : 이 사람들은 일반적으로 머무는 곳의 문화의 관습과 관행에 참여하지 않았으며, 시민으로서의 특권과 책임도 없었습니다. 이 구절은 그리스도인들이 불신자들의 관습을 멀리하고, 대신에 거룩한 나의 가치와 관습대로 살아야 함을 시사합니다.

abstain from fleshly lusts. Perhaps more lit. “hold yourself away from fleshly lusts.” In order to have an impact on the world for God, Christians must be disciplined in an inward and private way by avoiding the desires of the fallen nature (cf. Gal 5:19–21, where “fleshly lusts” include much more than sexual temptations). which wage war against the soul. “War,” i.e., to carry on a military campaign. Fleshly lusts are personified as if they were an army of rebels or guerrillas who incessantly search out and try to destroy the Christian’s joy, peace and usefulness (cf. 4:2, 3). 육체의 정욕을 제어하라 : 아마도 문자적으로 “육체의 정욕으로부터 너 자신을 멀리 하라”라는 의미입니다. 하나님을 위하여 세상에 영향을 미치기 위해서, 그리스도인은 타락한 본성의 욕망을 피함으로써, 내적이고 개인적인 방식으로 훈련을 받아야만 합니다. 영혼을 거슬러 싸우는 : “싸운다”는 것은 군사 작전을 수행한다는 의미입니다. 즉, 육신의 정욕은 마치 반란군이나 게릴라 군대처럼, 그리스도인의 기쁨과 평화와 그들의 유용함을 끊임없이 찾아내고 파괴하려는 것처럼 의인화되었습니다.
