목양말씀암송 (42) 당신은 예수님을 맞이할 영적인 준비를 해야 합니다 (이사야 40장 3-5절)

이사야 40:3 외치는 자의 소리여 이르되 너희는 광야에서 여호와의 길을 예비하라 사막에서 우리 하나님의 대로를 평탄하게 하라 40:3 A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. 40:4 골짜기마다 돋우어지며 산마다, 언덕마다 낮아지며 고르지 아니한 곳이 평탄하게 되며 험한 곳이 평지가 될 것이요 40:4 Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. 40:5 여호와의 영광이 나타나고 모든 육체가 그것을 함께 보리라 이는 여호와의 입이 말씀하셨느니라 (개역개정) 40:5 And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." (NIV)

40:3 crying in the wilderness: The voice is heard in the wilderness, calling the people there to ready themselves for the coming of the Lord. The analogy is based on the anticipated coming of a magnificent ruler from a distant land. The people who lived in the area of his intended visit would do everything possible to prepare the road for his arrival. Prepare means “clear away the obstacles” (57:14; 62:10). Highway represents the hearts of people who must be spiritually prepared by repentance for God’s glory to be revealed on the earth (Luke 3:3–20).외치는 자의 소리여 : 광야에서 외치는 자의 소리는, 그곳 사람들이 주님의 오심을 위하여 자기 자신을 준비하도록 요청하고 있습니다. 이 비유는 먼 땅에서 위대한 통치자가 오는 것을 기대하는 것에 기반으로 합니다. 그가 방문하고자 하는 곳에 살던 사람들은 그가 도착할 길을 준비하기 위해서 그들이 할 수 있는 모든 것을 할 것입니다. 예비하라는 것은 “장애물을 치우라”는 것을 의미합니다. “대로”라는 것은 이 땅에 나타날 하나님의 영광을 위하여 회개를 통해 영적으로 준비되어야 하는 사람들의 마음을 나타냅니다.

40:5 The future revelation of God’s glory would include the return of Judah from exile but would also go beyond it. The NT confirmed that the revelation of God’s glory came in Jesus Christ (John 1:14; Heb 1:3). • The Lord has spoken: The coming salvation and judgment would certainly occur because the Lord, who keeps his word, had declared it (see 1:20; 58:14). 하나님의 영광에 대한 미래의 계시는 포로 생활에서 돌아오는 유다 백성을 귀환을 포함합니다. 그러나 그 이상이 될 것입니다. 신약 성경은 하나님의 영광의 계시가 예수 그리스도 안에 임하셨음을 확증하십니다. 여호와의 입이 말씀하셨느니라 : 다가오는 구원과 심판은 자신의 말씀을 지키시는 주님께서 선언하셨기 때문에 분명히 이루어질 것입니다.
