19:11 A
society that did not respect the property of others would quickly fall apart
internally. To steal was prohibited (Exod 20:15), and those who would deceive
or cheat were required to present a guilt offering (see 6:2–7). 다른 사람의 재산을 존중하지 않는 사회는, 곧 내부적으로 무너질 것입니다. 도둑질은 금지되었고, 속이거나 사기를 친 자는 속건 제물을 바쳐야 했습니다.

Do not steal. The eighth commandment (Exod 20:15). There are multiple
ways to “steal,” whether by lying, deceiving, giving a false oath, fraud,
robbery, or holding back someone’s wages overnight when they needed them for
their daily provisions. 도둑질하지 말며 : 십계명 중에 여덟 번 째 계명입니다. 도둑질이라는 것은, 거짓말, 속이는 것, 거짓 맹세, 사기, 강도, 혹은 하루의 생계를 위해서 필요로 하는 임금을 보류하는 등 여러 가지를 포함하는 것입니다.
