로마서 8:13 너희가 육신대로 살면 반드시 죽을 것이로되 영으로써 몸의 행실을 죽이면 살리니 8:13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, 8:14 무릇 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 사람은 곧 하나님의 아들이라 (개역개정) 8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 8:13 PUT TO DEATH. In 7:4, Paul says that Christians are “put to death in relation to the law” through Christ’s once-for-all act of dying on the cross in their place. In response to this fact, believers are daily (the verb tense indicates an action that is repeated over and over) having to “put to death” all those practices they know to be wrong. 몸의 행실을 죽이면 : 바울 사도는 로마서 7장 4절에서, 죄인을 대신하여 단번에 행하신 그리스도의 십자가 죽음을 통하여서 그리스도인들은 “율법에 대하여 죽임을 당하였다”라고 말합니다. 이 사실에 대한 반응으로써, 신자들은 매일 (동사의 시제는 반복되는 행동을 나타냄) 잘못된 것이라고 그들이 알고 있는 모든 행실을 “죽여야”합니다.

8:13 The gift of new life requires the reception and cooperation of the believer through faith and obedience to God. We are His children (v. 14) as He leads us by the power of the Spirit. In this new life, the body becomes the follower, not the leader. In choosing the way of the Holy Spirit, we put to death sinful passions expressed through our thoughts, words, and deeds. 새로운 삶의 선물은, 믿음과 하나님에 대한 순종을 통하여서 신자들이 그것을 환영하며 협력할 것을 요구합니다. 우리는 성령님의 능력으로 우리를 인도하시는 그분의 자녀입니다. 이 새로운 삶은, 우리의 육체는 지도자가 아닌 추종자가 됩니다. 성령님의 길을 선택할 때, 우리는 생각과 말과 행동으로 표현된 죄악 된 정욕을 죽이는 것입니다.
