3:16 The
doctrine of inspiration refers to the process by which God oversaw the
composition of Scripture, guiding the authors to write exactly what he wanted
them to write without error. The Greek word translated inspired is
literally “breathed out by God.” Our God communicates, and he has worked supernaturally through
the Holy Spirit to communicate perfectly to us (see 1 Cor 2:9–16; 2 Pet 1:19–21). When we read the Bible, we
are reading the very words of the living God. 영감의 교리는, 하나님께서 성경의 저자들이 오류 없이 하나님께서 그들에게 쓰기를 원하시는 것을 정확하게 기록하도록 인도하시면서, 성경이 기록되는 것을 감독하신 과정을 말하는 것입니다. “감동으로 되었다” 라고 번역된 헬라어의 문자적인 의미는 “하나님께서 호흡을 불어 넣으셨다”입니다. 우리의 하나님은 소통하시는 분이신데, 우리에게 완벽하게 소통하시기 위해서 성령을 통해 초자연적으로 일하셨습니다. 우리가 성경을 읽을 때에, 우리는 살아계신 하나님의 바로 그 말씀을 읽는 것입니다.
All Scripture is profitable for teaching (instructing you in the truths that you need to know), for rebuking (reproving you for what you’ve done wrong), for correcting (showing you what it right), and for training in righteousness (guiding you to approach life as God intended) (2 Tim 3:16). Everything a believer needs to become all that God has redeemed him to be has been deposited in the Scriptures. 모든 성경은 교훈(당신이 알아야 할 진리를 당신에게 가르치는 것), 책망(당신이 잘못한 것에 대해서 꾸짖는 것), 바르게 함(무엇이 옳은 것인지를 당신에게 보여주는 것), 의로 교육하는 것(하나님께서 원하시는 방향으로 접근할 수 있게 당신을 인도하는 것)에 유익합니다. 하나님께서 신자를 구속하심으로 그 사람이 변화되기를 원하시는 모든 것들이 성경에 기록되어 있습니다.
